• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our purifier filters are not washable, they would need to be replaced. The filter is designed to last 4400 hours, so if you use the machine for 12 hours every single day, a filter should last you about a year. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
