Q: QuestionI have a Dyson am04. I turn it on after a few minutes I get a error code E7. Red power light blinks. I reset, lower the temp, lower the speed. Doesn't seem to solve it

Q: QuestionWhat is the size of room it will work in? I see 800 but also 172 in the specifications so which is it?

• A:Answer Hello 3838, This is Miella from Dyson. The Dyson TP01 Pure Cool purifier fan will clean the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the room. In a room of 139 square foot, the tower purifier fan will purify the room in 27 minutes. In a smaller room, it will take less time to purify the air; in a bigger room, it will take longer to purify the air. Other environmental factors that can affect how long it takes includes current ventilation, the layout of the room, etc. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support

Q: QuestionWe follow directions but when we try to reset the filter, we don't see a reset pattern. We see the F/3 dots but when we press the On button, the machine goes off and there is no pattern. We've been trying all afternoon and are extremely frustrated.

• A:Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.  You can adjust the airflow speeds from 1-10, but cannot cool a room to a set temperature. • A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson purifiers are scientifically tested to capture particles as small as allergens and viruses. You'll be happy to know that during testing, cigarette smoke was specifically tested to help determine the filter life and whole room purification. From these results 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns are removed from the air. CADR, which stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate, is the volume of filtered air delivered by a purifier in a given time frame. This measurement does not represent the quality of the air leaving the unit, only how much. For this reason we feel that it is largely irrelevant. This does not in any way represent a machine's ability to effectively mix the purified air with the ambient air in the room. CADR testing is performed in an empty room, with a ceiling fan simulating air movement - this is not indicative of the live environment our products are used in. Our product has a lower CADR – but actually projects the air much further than other products, features better filtration, and more effectively mixes the air in the room Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: QuestionI have a dyson cool 800sq.ft tower and after cleaning it wont restart a solid F4 appears i have tried to restart many times and will still not activate fan but it will turn from side to side is it now junk it is 2 years old this model was 400.00 at time.

Q: QuestionAfter I replace the filter how do reset the unit if I don’t have the remote control? I use the dyson app to control the purifier

• A:Answer Hello Skyla, this is Kelly with Dyson. To change/reset the filter on your unit without using the remote control, ensure the purifier is unplugged, and press both buttons to lift off the loop amplifier. Remove your old filter, and install the new filter. You will then lower the loop amplifier onto the base until it clocks and locks. When you have reassembled your machine, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds on the front of the unit. A clockwise rotating pattern will be shown on the LED display. Once the loading pattern is complete, the purifier will return to its normal usage. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: QuestionI changed the filters. I pressed and held the oscillation button on the remote for 6 seconds, but the HEPA indicator is still red and flashing (the carbon filter indicator is solid green and not flashing). I refitted several times. Help please.
