A:AnswerHi Alex, this is Kelly with Dyson. No; any Dyson machine purchased within the US can only be used in 110/120V outlets. We do not suggest or recommend the use of an adaptor, as that can cause damage to the machine's motor and void your fan's guarantee.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. CADR stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate. This is the volume of filtered air delivered by a purifier in a given time frame. This measurement does not represent the quality of the air leaving the unit, only how much. For this reason it is largely irrelevant as a measure. This does not in any way represent a machine's ability to effectively mix the purified air with the ambient air in the room. CADR testing is performed in an empty room, with a ceiling fan simulating air movement - this is not indicative of the live environment our products are used in. For this reason, we don't use CADR ratings as an effective measure of airflow with our machines.

Kelly

A:AnswerHi Amira, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool™ TP01 purifying fan is great for homes with allergy-sufferers. The 360º Glass HEPA filter removed 99.97% of particles of any size, down to 0.3 microns. It helps to remove pollen and allergens, bacteria and mold, industrial and auto emissions, odors and domestic fumes, pet dander and other ultrafine particles.

A:AnswerOn the Dyson site they address the CADR. I can say that mine has always worked very quickly in removing cooking odors or dust from the room. I’m really impressed with this purifier. It’s very quiet even on a high setting.
A:AnswerHi there June, this is Tia from Dyson. The TP01 includes an outstanding HEPA filtration system which captures allergens, gases, bacteria and smoke. Although methanol is not specifically stated, this unit also capture 99.97% pollutants as small as 0.3 microns.
Thanks for your support of Dyson technology!

A:AnswerA ceiling fan lowers the ambient temp about 3 degrees. I think if this fan were blowing right on you from a couple feet away, you might see 5 or 6 degree difference, but this is not an air conditioner or a swamp cooler. It is a cool breeze machine with very pure air.
