Hi there Jethro, this is Tia from Dyson! The Dyson TP04 doesn't allow for tipping up or down so there's not an option to project the air downwards. You will, however, get to enjoy the Backward Airflow Mode which diverts airflow through the back of the machine. To purify, without cooling you.
