Hi Ian, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link, in the max fan setting will use 44 watts of power, and in max heat setting, 1575 watts. Machines that use an ionizer release charged chemicals into the air, however this generates ozone in the home. Dyson purifiers do not use ionization to purify the air, so therefore our products do not generate ozone. This machine will come with a remote control and an included filter.
