No, you just live in an area where the humidity is already high enough. Durning the winter you will see it uses much more water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought two and both of mine are maxed out all the time. That is to say, always humidifying. If you have yours set to auto, or to a lower setting, it could last much longer. I’m sure if you set it to a low humidity setting that’s below your average humidity, you could probably go months without a refill. It’s all based on the humidity you want or have, room size, traffic, and other things like having windows open or closed.
