This fan just uses only the summer?? Not winter right??? null

You can use it whenever but there is no heater feature on this model. So if you want to stay REALLY cool you can run it in the winter. Some areas are very dry during the winter though so you would want to use the humidifier portion all winter.

Hi Holly, this is David with Dyson. Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde™ machines can be used year-round. While these units will not offer a heater like some of our other offerings, the lower airflow settings can still be utilized in winter, providing you with purification, as needed.
