“2 questions: What's the CADR for the PH04 model? During the deep clean cycle, is the unit blowing out air at all? If so, is the air quality clean? Thanks”

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. CADR stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate. This is the volume of filtered air delivered by a purifier in a given time frame. This measurement doesn't represent the quality of air leaving the unit, only how much. For this reason, we feel that it's a largely irrelevant measurement. This does not in any way represent a machine's ability to effectively mix the purified air with the ambient air in the room. Further, CADR testing is performed in an empty room, with a ceiling fan to simulate air movement. Our product has a lower CADR, but actually projects the air much further than other products, features better filtration, and more effectively mixes the air in the room. We hope this helps!
