A:AnswerHello Olga, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products, including the Supersonic™ hair dryer, are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product.

A:AnswerHi Fran, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question regarding the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. Dyson machines are intended for use in the country where purchased; as they are not dual-voltage. While you could use an adaptor or converter, we do not recommend that, as it can cause your machine to overheat or malfunction.
Best wishes,

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question; our Supersonic hair dryer is not dual-voltage; if purchased in the US, the unit would only be compatible with our electric here. We wouldn't recommend using an adaptor or converter, as this can cause damage to the machine.
