The main problem that you will have is to find a converter/transformer that can mach the 1600w that you need.the most common ones don't go over 500w. I had the same problem and as much as I was disappointed the hassle of carrying the correct transformer and the space+weight is not the best travel addition. You can buy one over there for almost the same $$ or € that is if you travel constantly and is a must have ...
