“We have an older v6 hand held and the vacuum cannot pick up dry dog food or anything bigger than a grain of rice as it simply pushes it around. Does the V11 Animal have enough clearance for the cleaning head to roll over debris like dried cereal or peas?”

Yes there is an adjustment on the floor attachment that can raise and lower it, we have 3 large breed dogs and a mix of hard and carpeted floors. This vacuum blew me away, I left a review recently on Best Buy’s app that is more detailed than I will be here. I attached a photo for you to see for yourself, the food is Iams large breed. I also put a Bic lighter in the photo as a reference.

The head has 2 spaces that are a little raised so larger objects like dog food can be sucked up. It also has a red lever (see picture) on the head that can raise or lower the bristles to make sucking up larger items easier.
