Hello Magda, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 Animal features a lithium-ion battery. Lithium-Ion batteries are subject to degradation over time. This is completely normal and occurs with any device that uses this type of battery. Unfortunately, we are unable to advise how long each component will last in each individual's home.
