Hi Gigi, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V11 Torque Drive and Animal are very similar. Both have the same run times and suction. The only difference between models is going to be tools that you will find in the box. Both the Animal and Torque Drive are suitable for homes with pets. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
