Hi Jemma, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11™ Torque Drive vacuum offers three modes of suction power, which range from 23-185 air watts. The Ball Animal 3 offers 150 air watts of suction from the cleaner head, and 290 air watts of suction when using the wand/hose with attachments. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
