If you are vacuuming a surface where the manufacturer recommends against using a floor tool with a spinning brush bar, any of our upright machines would work well, as the brush bar can be disabled on those models. On our cord-free machines, such as the V15 Detect, the brush is always going to be spinning. You can always opt to remove the floor tool and wand, and use any of the non-motorized attachments for spot cleaning. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
