First- How long the battery lasts depends totally on the setting, of which there are 3 modes: High, Medium, Eco. In the Medium mode, the battery can last for at least 40 minutes or longer, which is the typical default setting. V15 Detect offers three modes of suction power, with run times that vary from 5-60 minutes, depending on the mode in use.
