• It blows off the sides of the motor housing which tends to blow dust bunnies all over the place. This vacuum has excellent power and thus the exhaust wind created bounces off walls blowing dust especially in hard floored bedrooms.

• It does not. The exhaust vents air out to the sides of the post motor filter enclosure.
