Yes, but not big deal. Start Button is VERY soft to the point you may start it on with little contact.

The only two models we offer that have an on/off switch would be the Omni-Glide which is a small compact hard-floor vacuum, or the V12 Detect Slim machines. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
