QuestionDoes the exhaust blow back in your face like the older models?

- Answer It blows off the sides of the motor housing which tends to blow dust bunnies all over the place. This vacuum has excellent power and thus the exhaust wind created bounces off walls blowing dust especially in hard floored bedrooms.

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. A few of our machines use dual voltage transformers making them compatible across a range of voltages. This is why the chargers on the cordless state they will work on 110-240 voltage. However, it's still advisable not to use outside the country of purchase. One of the reasons for advising against the use of machine outside of the country that they are sold in is that the machines are tested and certified to meet that countries regulations and requirements. For example a US machine is tested and certified to UL, ETL and FCC regulations to ensure that it is fit for retail. In the UK this would be BEAB, BS, IEC and CE, Canada CSA and so on. Each country has its own rules and regulations. We do not guarantee that a machine used outside of the country it is sold in meets all of the requirements of the second country. Plus, per the owner's manual it explains not to use internationally to avoid impact to the warranty, as we are unable to ship internationally and each region has very specific conditions. - Answer Yes. The newest Gen 5 V15 Detect has a feature where you don’t have to. However, it’s not like it’s hard to pull the trigger, it’s very easy.

- Answer I suppose if you were elderly with very weak hands the weight might be a concern, but other than that, I don’t think the minimal weight is any problem at all, it’s very easy.

- Answer 1. Would it go into the same dock (wall hang) as the V11? It should fit but it's based on the generation of dock that you have. If yours doesn't fit, simply contact Dyson for a different style dock. 2. In addition to green-light basic floor attachment, does V15 also come with the same large basic floor attachment that V11 have? (Or the light one replace?) It only comes with a laser head, a carpet head, and a car tool (as far as heads are concerned).

- Answer I would say if you're still having this issue to check where the power cord is plugged in and try plugging it in a different wall outlet. if that doesn't work then contact Dyson, they are always helpful.

- Answer Hello Laurel, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can expect the following run times with your V15 Detect. On carpeting - with the Motorhead, high mode - 10 minutes, medium mode - 20 minutes, and low mode - 60 minutes. On hard floors - with the Motorhead, high mode - 5 minutes, medium mode - 40 minutes and low mode - 60 minutes. On hard floors - with the Fluffy head, high mode - 12 minutes, medium mode - 30 minutes and low mode - 60 minutes. When you're using any non-motorized attachment, high mode - 5 minutes, medium mode - 30 minutes and low mode - 60 minutes. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
