• Animal will work on all floor types - carpet, tile, wood floors, rugs, upholstery, .... There are attachments included with the vacuum.

• Hi Peggy, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Animal cord-free vacuum can be used on both hard wood flooring and carpeting. If you have floors more delicate or that might be susceptible to marking from a brush bar, we'd recommend the V7 Absolute model, which includes a soft roller head, engineered specifically for use on bare floors.
