It will work but its better to get the hard floor attachment there is a huge difference

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The vacuum head to me can be used on hard floors. If you are talking about Hardwood Floors I had no problems with the attachments that came with the vacuum on mine. With that being said I would still be careful with using it on hardwood floors.
