Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson V7 Animal Cord-Free vacuum will feature 100 air watts of suction power and up to 30 minutes of run time, to tackle any household mess. These units also feature two suction modes, MAX and regular power. While regular power is suitable for most household messes, you may find that some debris is more stubborn to pick up and does require MAX power mode. While in MAX power, your unit will receive a boost of power, making suction more powerful. When fully charged, you can expect run time from 7-30 minutes, depending on which suction mode and tools you are using. On your heavy duty carpeting, you may find that MAX power performs better. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works great on our rugs, but I think it would struggle on a carpeted house due to battery. We use it for our hardwood and go over the rugs and it handles it like a champ. I will use Max power occasionally to really hit the rugs great.
