Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This comes with one charger that can be threaded into the wall mounted docking station or can be used as stand alone charger. Once the the docking station is mounted and the cord is threaded, it's not "easily" removed, but can be. I have two of these and my wife prefers to just use the charger, I prefer the to use the charger in the docking station for the one in my office.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Baley, this is Kelly with Dyson. Using the dock on our cord-free machines is completely optional. The charging cable will thread behind the dock, against the wall. One end of the charger plugs into your electrical outlet, and the pin end will snap into the dock, so when the machine is placed in the dock the battery is making contact with that pin - receiving its charge. You can use the dock without the charger, and just store the machine on the dock - but it will not receive a charge unless you have the charging cable connected. You can just opt to plug the charger into the machine, whenever you need to charge it. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
