“While I realize this is a stick vacuum and primarily sucks up dirt, it seems you really have to push the vacuum on the rug which is very difficult. The floor attachment does not move easily on carpeting. Please advise?”

We have an area rug which I tend not to use it on. I use it on smaller rugs and it works great. I would agree for carpeting in longer lengths it's not ideal. I don't think the motor is large enough.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lower your angle of attack a little. Also on our area rugs it does work better in certain directions. I bought this for its ability to grab off the wall and go. Because it's so easy to start vacuuming I use it almost every day so my rugs never really get that dirty. If you still don't like it being hard to push, just think of it as part of your workout routine.
