“How does it charge back up. Does the charging station have to be direct wired in or is their a plug with a cord where you can plug it into an outlet? What is the life span of this product.”

There’s a plug that can go from the outlet to the vacuum if you do not want to hang it. But there are mounting screws to hang that make it much more convenient.

You can wall mount the included dock, and the charging cable will thread behind it, with one end plugging in to your wall outlet, and the other end making contact with the machine while docked. Alternately, you can just plug the charger directly in to the machine to charge it. While we can't guarantee a lifespan for the battery due to varying factors, I can confirm that we would generally expect the battery to outlast the free 2-year guarantee provided with all new machines purchased from an authorized retailer. While we don't expect problems to occur, the guarantee is in place to help protect against any problems that may ever arise or come up with a new purchase. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
