You have a battery problem! The trigger is simply that a trigger.it simply pushes a lever down to turn on your battery, the power switch is in the battery these go wrong as I myself found out just recently. After getting a new body for my Dyson V7 I had the same problem it would not switch off, I then found out that the problem was the battery!!!!
