Hello Daisy, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson V6 attachments would not fit on to the Dyson V7 machines, without the use of an adaptor. V7 and newer models feature our red-tabbed quick release attachments. Anything motorized from a V6 including the floor tool, and also the wand, would not fit on a handheld model.
