On the V-8 you do have to depress the trigger the entire time. But it is a very light trigger pull and the overall weight of the entire unit is light. My 3-year old daughter easily vacuums with this thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson V8 Absolute. The Dyson range of cordless vacuum cleaners has a battery-enhancing trigger. Battery power is only on when the trigger is pushed – this means that the battery is only used for cleaning, and is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you do. There is no lock to keep the trigger activated but it’s light enough to not notice. It’s the same on V6, V7, and V8
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Suction power is strong enough not to compare with V6&V7 things.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you have to manually depress the trigger continuously. My understanding is that this is true for the V6 and V7 as well as the V8.
