“I have a brand new carpet that is very plush and thick. I cannot use my old vacuum cleaner with a power bar. Looking for a new vacuum with no power beater. Wpuld I be food with this one?? If not please suggest something”

The Dyson allows you to turn the power head off and still provides suction.

Please try again later.We also have new, plush rugs and to be honest, it seems the newer rugs and carpeting have all sorts of loose fibers I didn’t know about until using the V8 on them. The first few times vacuuming them I had to empty the thing a lot. It’s powerful suction picked up a lot of fibers which I expect is good... less dust further down the road. I’m not sure what you mean by a power beater but the vacuum comes with two power attachments. One for hard floors and the other for rugs. Neither beats the rug but both rotate to help sweep the carpeting. I’m not sure my answer applies to your question but I do hope it helps.
