“I have had a Dyson V7 for years and love it ! But It hasn't been used for a few months and was hooked up to the charger. Not it will not charge. What can I do to charge it?”

If it’s like other chargers, continuous charging without usage wears down and burns out the battery. You may need to purchase a new battery.
