No, these do not work like that. These are not blue tooth. Your phone uses a sound frequency to communicate with the Eargo's for changing the programs and adjusting the volume. Since they are so small, blue tooth is not available and it helps keep the price at a good place in my opinion.

With Eargo devices, we have a Bluetooth receiver in the charger, which allows you to customize the hearing aids to your unique hearing preferences through an app in your phone. It’s a different approach for such a small hearing aid, and it works great! It is both Android and Apple compatible.
