You will need a dash unit or a mirror that can display it. The double din head units are not as pricey as you may think. I am very happy that i spent the money and got the rear camera and new head unit in my 2010 Silverado.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can install a car receiver with a screen. Most of them have a video-in port that allows for backup camera installation. I have a 2005 Tundra and used a small monitor that came with different backup camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue on my 2005 Silverado. I was looking to upgrade the stereo anyway, so I purchased a Pioneer deck with a display screen and the camera works great with the new system. The deck was on sale so overall it was totally worth it.
