yes it does. They supply a connector to take care of this. It's something you have to add in at the furnace, but it's easy to do as long as you have access to the furnace. It's a connector that terminates 5 wires to the furnace with the 4 wires one has.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the W is the C-wire. It also has a power extender kit in case you don't have one. So it should work with almost all HVACs unlike the Nest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - but you'll need to either connect a C wire (Blue) or use the included power adapter unit to supply the power to the unit (versus say a Nest which just robs the RH wire of power slowly).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will, the ecobee3 comes with an adapter you install - it is pretty straightforward and their tech support # is excellent if you get stuck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It comes with a cable for routing power over existing lines. Check out the videos on the Ecobee website for more info. The install is super easy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looks like you are missing a common wire. The product comes with an attachment which splices onto your hvac system which alleviates the common wire at the thermostat but detects a common wire to operate. Detailed instructions are included in the box and youtube videos are also available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work with a 4 wire configuration. In fact it will work with almost any wire configuration as it is shipped with a power extender kit which (if needed - check the instructions) attaches at the furnace end of your thermostat cable and supplies power to the Ecobee eliminating the need for batteries!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but seems like you'll need the power extender kit (already included in the kit). I do not have experience on how reliable it is with it installed ( did have a C wire in place), but I haven't heard of people having issues with it. Might want to look into your AC control board, as the lack of a C/Rc wire might just be that it is not connected due to your old thermostat not needing it. You may even have the wiring in place already depending on how old your dwelling and AC unit are.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not. In the box they will have all the different wire configurations and labels for them so you won't get them confused. All of the guess work is taken out. The connection of wires is pretty straight forward. Hope this helps and good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It will. There is an included adapter for 4 wire systems.
