we set ours at a Carolinas beach home the same way and were getting mildew around the bathroom exhaust fans. Heating man installed better vapor dampers on every fan exhaust hose and problem solved. The bathroom fans have those little crappy plastic flaps even the more expensive ones most times they flip open and stay that way. That allows that humid air to permeate the home causing systems to work harder and sometimes let you down. Simple spring loaded dampers are available and cheap.
