• My prior generation thermostat allows for the range to gbe customized with a minimum of 3 degrees.

• You can configure the heat/cool minimum delta under threshold settings to you liking. This is set to 5⁰F/2.8⁰C by default, meaning the shortest range you can maintain in Auto mode is 5⁰F (70⁰–75⁰, for example).
