River 2 doesn't require a network provider to operate. You do not need any mobile network or SIM card to use it. The River 2 is a portable power station that works entirely on its internal battery and provides power through its AC, USB, and DC ports without needing any network connection. The only time a “network” comes into play is if you want to use the EcoFlow app. The River 2 can connect to the app through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but this is completely optional. You can use Bluetooth without any internet provider, and the device will still function normally even if you never use the app at all. Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is only needed if you want to monitor or control the unit using the EcoFlow app.
