It appears that your old system is using passive speakers. This listing is for an active speaker (meaning that you couldn't just hook them up to your old system). If your old systems doesn't have RCA outputs, then you should probably shop for some passive (non powered) speakers. Edifier makes a set that is comparable to these except passive called the P12 (and also the P17).
