Will this particular eero (eero 6 extender) work with Spectrum by itself, no. Will eero, in general, work with Spectrum modem/router, yes. The head/gateway eero must have a connection to the internet via ethernet, it will then create its own wifi network, the other eero can connect to that gateway, wired or wirelessly, and will broadcast the same wifi network, giving your devices a much closer access point to connect to. This particular eero, the 6 extender, does not have any ethernet ports, so it can only connect wirelessly to another eero that is creating a network.
