• This eero (the 6 Extender) does require another eero hardwired into the internet (via an ethernet cable) in order to work. The hardwired eero will be the head/gateway eero and create a wifi network. This eero (The 6 extender) can wireless connect to the gateway eero and broadcast the same wifi network.
