We purchased 3 basic eeros about a year ago. We have a 1250 sqft house. Modem and first eero are located in front office. Second is located downstairs in living room. Third is located in a detached studio located about 50 ft from the house. Considering our experience, I’d say a mirrored wall wouldn’t be a problem. About a month ago, the unit in the studio started having some issues. I’m assuming it was an isolated issue with that particular unit. Upgraded that one unit to an eero+6 and it’s been working great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any metal can impact negatively on the signal transmission. When installing my system, I had to bypass a refrigerator which was interfering with my Netgear Router signal via line of sight setup utilizing 3 of the Eeros.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may. We won't know how bad until you try though. Wireless interference is a difficult thing to predict accurately. For example we recommend you keep the eero away from large electronics like fridges and TVs. However, in my personal at home setup a I have a wall and a big tv directly between my two eero Pro and I still get excellent speeds. You won't know until you try. If the wall does prove to be an obstacle either wire the eero to each other using ethernet or use another eero to bounce the signal around the wall.
