Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can. If you do this we have two recommendations. The first would be to disable the existing wifi router's wifi network, it is generally not the best idea to have two wireless routers generating networks in close proximity, that almost guarantees interference with each other. If that is not possible/desired we would recommend giving the eero wifi a different name (so you can tell which wifi is which on your devices) and have the two as physically far apart as is feasible (to help prevent the previously mentioned interference)
