Only the base station has ethernet ports; 1 port (as you likely know) to connect to you existing router (to broadcast WiFi) the other port, you can connect to a ethernet device. As you also likely know now, the 2 satellite units have no ethernet ports. However, you can (as I did) purchase another base station (giving you 4 in total units), connect it as a satellite (to your original base station), then it's two ports give you ethernet, at it's location (less expensive than paying someone to pull an ethernet cable). I believe the previous model had ethernet ports on all 3.
