• Depends on your environment. A GB hardware Ethernet connection will serve you better if you are able to wire each/all of your WiFi Access Points. If you can't, the units will mesh well using just WiFi - but that "relay" (from one Eero to the next) can slow down your connection speed slightly.

• Hello Mc, No, You will only need to use an ethernet cable on 1 Eero device. You will connect that Eero to a power outlet and to your modem with the ethernet cable . Your other Eero units will just need to be plugged into a power outlets. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!
