Hi, is this an extender or a router on its own? null

Router on its own. Awesome device. We bought a three pack plus one single. We have them plugged in around the house in various rooms of 3200 sf. Internet is great.

The 3 devices are all identical and can serve as the main router or as an extender. The entire network can function as an extender if you want. You just need to check the bridge mode option to do that, however I am using my standalone and have not tried it in bridge mode.
