Yes, as long as the eero gets access to the internet via an ethernet port, it can be a router and the head of your network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is a tough question to answer and requires more information. Does Frontier provide you with cable or fiber internet? Regardless, do they require a modem? If a modem is needed, you will need to get a modem that is compatible with the internet service you are using. You could then place this router behind the modem. The Eero requires a Cat6 connection, which you should be able to get from any modem. I tried to look up a Fios router, but it only pulls up the new Version router. Best of luck.
