It largely depends on the ISP. With most ISPs you can, even if the ISP requires PPPoE or VLAN settings. If you are getting phone or TV via Fios you do need to use their router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure about that, but I have one thing to say: the Eero Pro 6E is so unstable, that I do not recommend it. I had to keep resetting it more than twice a day for the few days that I kept it. One of the three routers kept dropping out, and many websites were inaccessible, while others were working fine. No rhyme or reason in that. I could not reach my Yahoo email using Apple's Mail app, while Google was sometimes functional and sometimes not. I thought that maybe I had a defective system, so I went to the store and got a replacement. Same issues, so back to the store it goes. I spent more than 20 hours troubleshooting these two systems, to no avail. I think this design was plainly rushed into production. Hugely disappointed. I suggest finding a different system to purchase.
