You need to wire one of the Eros to your homes modem the other two do not need to be wired to anything.

These are routers. Not sure what you mean. They have one ethernet port open on the gateway (main) unit so it you need more Ethernet ports you need a switch not a router. I have a 24 port gigabit switch attached to mine.
