• You need to wire one of the Eros to your homes modem the other two do not need to be wired to anything.

• You just need the isp modem and a patch cable so you can connect your eero gateway to it and the rest can pair wirelessly

• No, all you need is connection to the internet via an ethernet cable and this can be your router for both wired and wireless devices.

• Router? No. You do need to connect this, via ethernet (wire), to your modem.

• These are routers. Not sure what you mean. They have one ethernet port open on the gateway (main) unit so it you need more Ethernet ports you need a switch not a router. I have a 24 port gigabit switch attached to mine.
