If your home is 9000 ft.² you will need multiple units my experience is that you will need at least one unit for each floor . Probably two units for each floor one on each side of the floor. they will automatically connect with each other so you do not have to run cat six, as part of the easy set up process all of the units will work together. if you have any doubt about how many units you will need, by fewer, and then you can easily add on more units to enhance signal if you need to

I would suggest the three pack of pro eero and stagger them at different ends of the floors of your house to get the best coverage. The good thing is if you need another eero pro, you can get one and just add it to your network.
