• Up and down is a function of your provider and not the eero.

• I believe with this system you will have the same speed as whatever your service speed you receive from your provider. For instance, I got 150 Mbps upload/download WiFi speed , which is the same as the plan I signed up with Frontier Communications. Before I got this WiFi System, my speed was less than 20 Mbps even though my service was for 150 Mbps.
