If it's an ISP Modem that is also a Router then Yes but be sure to DISABLE the WiFi from the Modem\Router. If you are connecting other devices via Ethernet, then you will need to connect them to an unmanaged Switch (i recommend you buy any TP link switch) to the main Eero that is connected to the Modem\Router. DO NOT CONNECT any other device [Ethernet or WiFi] to your main Modem\Router in this set up If you want to add the Eero onto a standalone router, you can as well, but you'd need to set the Eero in Bridge or Double NAT mode.
